1. Not eating meals.
If the dieting plan requires you to skip meals, than it is 'fashion diet'. Avoiding meal is definitely not healthy and could cause critical illnesses especially for people who are suffering from diabetes. Missing meals could cause hypoglycemia, which in turn would cause you to eat even many times more on your next meal.
2. Just dieting without exercising, or vice versa.
Working out is important for anyone to lose weight. It keeps the blood circulate and enhance the process of losing weight. Hence, dieting without doing any form of exercise is not good.
All exercises without controlling your food intake is not good either. It goes without saying that you'll need energy food to burn those unwanted fat, and depriving yourself from food could make your body weak and thus, give up the process to lose weight completely.
3. Taking more time than necessary or procrastinating.
The is no other better time to lose weight than now. If you are serious about losing weight. To delay your plans would not bring you closer to your goal. It will drive to more excuses and problems to not executing your plans. So, if the weight loss program you are following suggest a time frame for you to achieve your goal, chances are, it is a 'trend dieting program'.
We do not need a timeframe to lose weight. To lose weight means to be in a tip-top healthy condition and it should be done daily, consistently as a lifestyle or habit, not by doing it when and as you like.
In other words, to know whether or not you are in a 'fashion dieting program', check how you feel since you are in it. A correct weight loss program should make you feel a lot more energetic and healthier, even if you shed not much unwanted fats.
It is always good to remind yourself that there is no such thing as quick weight loss program, but only consistent, daily healthy lifestyle process - period.
